MacKay Belk – Chairman of the Board

MacKay is the former Vice-Chairman, President, CMO and currently a board member of Belk Inc., a $4.0B privately held retailer. Additionally he is a director of Coca-Cola Bottling Consolidated Co., the nation’s second largest Coca-Cola bottling company and serves as director of Beech Labs, a growing biomedical company focused on life sciences. Previously Mr. Belk has served as a director and executive committee member of the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce; is the past chairman of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and previously a member of the UVA Families board of directors and the Family Enterprise Institute advisory board at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. He remains a member on the Board of Visitors at Charlotte Latin School and Board of Trustees of Crossnore School in Crossnore, NC.

Edward Arnold – Director

Edward is the former CEO of the publicly-traded company Arnold Logistics. In 1972 he was elected a director of New Penn Motor Express, Inc., and became its president in 1974. E.H. then became chairman, president and CEO of Arnold Industries in 1983. In 2001 Arnold Industries was sold, and Arnold Logistics became an independent/separate entity for which Mr. Arnold remained owner and CEO. Most recently, he was elected a director of Allmarine in August of 2007. In addition to his professional background, E.H. served on the boards of the American Trucking Association, Regular Common Carrier Conference, Middle Atlantic Conference, Trucking Management, Inc., Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon Community Library and Lebanon Valley College. He is a past director of the United Way-Lebanon County, Lebanon County Workshop, Lancaster/ Lebanon Boy Scout Council and Lebanon County Chamber of Commerce. E.H. earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Notre Dame University.

Dan Pfeiffer – Director

Dan is the founder and owner of Pfeiffer Capital Group, a firm that raises equity for development projects. Before starting the firm in 2006, Dan was self-employed as a U.S. Government Treasury trader for 15 years, owning a seat on the Chicago Board of Trade (currently known as the Chicago Mercantile Exchange). Prior to trading, he worked at TransMarket Group and the National Futures Association as a senior auditor in the commodities and futures industry. Dan graduated with a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Evansville, where he played four years of Division I baseball.

Francis Lolli – Director

Francis is a Managing Director at the Carlyle Group, responsible for investor relations in the Mid-West region of the U.S. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Lolli was a partner at Shannon Advisors where he provided placement and advisory services to private equity firms. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Lazard Frères and part of the original team that created the Private Fund Advisory Group. This effort provided placement services to private equity funds. Fran holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from DePauw University and a Master’s of Business Administration in finance from the University of Chicago.

Tom Biesinger – Director

Tom is the CEO of Genesis Ventures and has extensive business experience in building, running and advising organizations across Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. As a result of his work at the corporate and entrepreneurial levels, he has nurtured and mentored scores of organizations throughout the entire growth chain, from small, mid to large capitalization. As a trusted advisor and executive, Tom brings knowledge of deal flows, talent identification and development, and syndication. Tom has served on numerous statutory and operational boards, including Barclay’s Capital, Barclay’s Group, British United Provident Association (BUPA), Deutsche Bank, GDI Group, Genesis, LND Partners, and Work Horse Capital. Tom holds degrees in business and organizational design.

Martin Linder - Director

Martin is currently the Managing Director of Monterosa Group, an investment platform with focus on emerging markets based in Zurich and Dubai. He is the former Managing Director and remains a board member of Vision Bancorp Energy . Additionally, he is a former board member for Impact Economy that focused on investing in sub-emerging markets. A lawyer by education with a Master of Laws degree from the University of Zurich, Martin brings strong legal and investment expertise. Fluent in multiple language and an avid traveler, Martin relaxes by competing at the highest levels in triathlons around the world.

Troy Stremler – Director

Troy is the CEO of Newdea overseeing the overall strategy of the company, and is the visionary for Newdea's mission to lead and empower impact-based philanthropy. His goal is to create a standard in impact reporting for nonprofits and enable a new way of philanthropy for major donors. Troy is a recognized leader in the nonprofit sector and brings more than 20 years of intensive experience working with donors, nonprofit organizations, foundations, and government granting agencies on operational and governance issues. Prior to founding Newdea, Troy held diverse management and consultant roles to various businesses, most recently as the Founder and CEO of Mission Builders International. Troy's successes allow him to be extensively engaged in corporate strategy and planning sessions with global leaders in government, wealth management and philanthropic organizations.
